This extension project was brought to us at drawing stage from one of our commercial clients. We assessed the requirements and offered a specification to suit. We worked on this project in January, which presented us with some poor weather conditions. In these harsh weather conditions it was imperative we sealed the roof in quick time.

It was important that the building remained usable, so the first requirement was to install a foil faced vapour barrier. This is a good temporary solution for a robust waterproofing system. We insulated and installed membrane to the full roof area in less than 2 days. Finally, we mechanically fixed and welded the preformed metal edging trims. This gave the roof a sleak and clean finish.
