Charity Golf Day 2023
On the 12th of August 2023 Blackpool Industrial Roofing hosted another Charity Golf Day supporting Trinity Hospice and Brian house, alongside celebrating their 50th Anniversary!
Our event this year celebrated everything 70s at Poulton golf Club we’ve managed to raise on outstanding £53,400 for a worthy cause.
We are incredibly grateful for all the love and supported received by everyone who came down to join us, it was an amazing turn out, enjoying sporting fun alongside raising money.
The live music, kids’ entertainment and raffle draws were provided throughout the day with amazing prizes to be won.
Due to the amazing result from this year we look forward to our Charity Golf Day next year, in hope to break the record again
On the 12th of August 2023 Blackpool Industrial Roofing hosted another amazing Charity Golf Day! With the aim of raising as much money as possible to a charity close to our hearts Trinity Hospice and Brain House. This year was extra special as we are celebrating the company 50th Anniversary. The theme this year was all things 70s to celebrate the decade we were founded in.
Trinity Hospice is a local charity based in Bispham. They provide palliative care across the Fylde Coast. The team of specialist doctors and nurses and other health care professionals provide care 24 hours a day 365 days a year. Not only do they support the patients that comes in their services they also provide support to all family members through very difficult times. Brian House Children’s Hospice is a part of Trinity Hospice care for local children and their families with complex needs and life limiting conditions. On the day of the event, it was forecasted to rain all day thankfully it turned to be showers in the morning and a lovely warm afternoon. The weather did not put people off in coming down to support. We are grateful for catering companies such as Griddle Girls, Bedrock Pizza and The New Penny.
From raffle tickets, golfing teams and sponsorship we raise over £53,400 for both Brain House and Trinity Hospice. We cannot thank the team and the volunteers from Trinity and Brian House enough for their support in making this year a success.
We have been incredibly grateful for all the love and support we have received by everyone who attend and donated. It was an amazing turn out with over 60 teams who attended the golfing event and many more who just came down for the day! We have been thrilled again to work alongside Poulton-Le-Fylde Golf Club who hosted the day.
This day would not have been a success without our director Sean and his daughters Megan and Jordan and the rest of the team who helped make this event happen every year. We hope that next year we can be bigger and better and beat this year’s amount.
