Elmer

For eight weeks Blackpool will be home to over 60 Elmer sculptures, all uniquely designed by artists from across the UK, as well as local schools and community groups.

Every week a person who has visited the Blackpool Industrial Roofing Elmer elephant is chosen at random to pick up a voucher worth £15 to spend at Three Little Piggies Bakery. The vouchers are to be collected from Trinity.

The sculptures will be around central Blackpool until 9th June before coming together in one room for their special Farewell Event. The large Elmer sculptures will then be auctioned off to raise funds for Brian House, whilst the Young Elmers will be returned to the schools who created them.

From its launch weekend, Elmer’s Big Parade Blackpool has already been a huge success. The free trail app has been downloaded over 5,000 times and trail-goers have clocked up 77, 16847 steps (and counting!)

This is an incredible opportunity for locals and tourists of all ages to get out and about, re-discover Blackpool and celebrate David McKee’s much-loved patchwork elephant.

We hope you have the chance to get involved!
