Gaskell Primary School – Bolton – Flat Roof – Polyroof Protec

On this particular project we installed Polyroof Protec system which comes as standard with a 20 year insurance back to warranty on both materials and labour.

Gaskell Primary School sought the expertise of Blackpool Industrial Roofing when they required a waterproofing solution for the school roof.  We surveyed the area and complied our findings into a professional report. The report highlights the defective areas and our recommendations – which in this case was replacement insulation installation.

The first stage of this project as with any other overlay project is preparation of existing roof coverings and surface.

1. High pressure jet wash
2. identify and highlight defects
3. Remove defects
4. Install new insulation
5. Coverings applied
6. Install perimeter edging trims (hand laminated Polyroof trims)
7. PU bond trims
8. Waterproofing applied

On projects such as these are chosen manufacturer will inspect our works weekly and report back to us and our clients ensuring both piece of mind on quality of installation for both Blackpool Industrial Roofing & of course our client. This project was delivered on time for the client and all works were completed over the six week summer school holidays.
