Metrotile is up to seven times lighter than so-called ‘traditional’ roofing materials, including clay and slate.
My building needs a new roof and i’m interested in Metrotile. However I have no experience fitting a roof, can you help?

What standards does Metrotile meet?

What kind of accessories are available for a Metrotile roof?
Metrotile offers everything you require for a full roof installation and strives to be the one stop your roof requires. From rafters to underlay, to a full range of ridges, caps and ventilation to specialist accessories such as Velux windows and the Metrotile Photovoltaic System, Metrotile has it covered. We also sell fixings, nailguns and offer a hire service on some installation equipment such as guillotines and benders.
Does Metrotile offer roofing systems for areas where vandalism is prevalent?
Every Metrotile roof is extremely secure, against both vandalism and extreme weather. The dry-fix installation method makes it impossible for vandals to pull the tiles from the roof by hand. Are there any conditions for the Forty Year Guarantee?
Yes – the roof either needs to be installed by an approved Metrotile contractor OR a Metrotile representative can visit to approve the guarantee for DIY installations. Metrotile Customer Care works hard every step of the way to ensure your installation goes smoothly and the end result is suitable for approval.
Explain how Metrotile requires reduced transport costs compared to other roof products?
Compared to traditional roofing materials, Metrotile is one seventh of the weight and only .450mm thick (or .900mm thick for the Metrotile Secure Solution profiles). This means that one truckload of Metrotile profiles can offer the same roof coverage as seven truckloads of traditional roof materials. This also means less carbon dioxide emissions and less strain on the environment.
Is a Metrotile roof difficult to maintain?
Absolutely not. Once installed, a Metrotile roof requires nearly zero maintenance and is guaranteed weatherproof for forty years.
